Artist's Comments
This is Gustav Waldrop, a little monster created out of insomnia and "Crooked Teeth" by Death Cab for Cutie. At 300 years old, he is the third youngest out of a brood 6,000. He is also allergic to bananas and afraid of loud noises, grasshoppers and the elderly. As he's only as big as a standard coffee cup, he's capable of chasing after pigeons off of buildings, one of his favorite passtimes.
Created on the backing of an old sketchbook [9x12 inches] with ink, acrylic paint, and some colored pencil. I do not own nor take credit for Death Cab for Cutie and their musical genius |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
